Leaders of TVET Institutions gain great insights in the quality management model, change management, planning management etc. within the German vocational education system

Participants complete the further training course and receive certificates by Hessen State Institute for Advanced Technical Training (HLfT)

Participants actively ask questions, share and exchange experience at the training

Participants learn more about the management model of the vocational training system in Germany through a meeting at the German Federal Institute of Vocational Education and Training (BIBB)

Meeting and talking with representatives of businesses and students who are participating in the “Dual system”

Eleven leaders from relevant departments of the Directorate of Vocational Education and Training (DVET), Ho Chi Minh City Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs (DoLISA Ho Chi Minh), and 9 Vocational Colleges who are supported by the Programme “Reform of TVET in Viet Nam” have successfully completed the further training course on vocational education institution management and cooperation with enterprises in Germany from 17 to 27 September 2019 under the Bund Länder Programme “Capacity Development for Energy and Resource Efficiency: Hessen – Vietnam”, jointly implemented by “Programme Reform of TVET in Vietnam” and partners in Hessen Federal State.

Speaking about the further training course, Mr. Dang Minh Su, Head of Vocational Education Division, DoLISA Ho Chi Minh said: “This training was very useful for my work and the successful planning and coordination of training activities by colleges in our city”. Mr. Tran Trung Dung, Vice Rector of Ninh Thuan Vocational College emphasized: “The training course helps me gain a deeper understanding of the importance of engaging the business sector in ensuring that our training offers are practice-based and demand-driven. We also have a chance to learn more about the German standard school management models”.

During the further training, participants participated in seminars on the German vocational education system, its quality management model, change management, planning management in the age of Industry 4.0 They also paid working visits to the German Federal Institute of Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), various vocational schools and enterprises which provide practical training, Chambers of Crafts(HWK) and business associations.

The delegation members were honoured to welcome the visit of Mr Dao Ngoc Dung, Vietnam Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs. “Minister Dao Ngoc Dung shared, “I do appreciate the GIZ’s activities in coordinating the implementation of the German dual training model into the system of Viet Nam, and this is also a policy of importance for the Vietnamese government.”
