Ms Helga Barth gave thanks to DoHA and ESC for a good cooperation between the two agencies and the MEG-GIZ Programme. “It is essential for potential migrant workers to receive high quality and accessible counseling”, she emphasised, as “German regulations are very complex”.

Looking ahead, Director of DOHA proposed further collaborative activities such as capacity development for counsellors on transcultural training. This would enable them to better prepare for migrant workers with essential knowledge about German cultural and regulations before departure to ensure a safe and smooth migration process.
