Planning Technical Cooperation Activities 2008

On the 30^th and 31^st of January the workshop Planning Technical Cooperation Activities 2008of TVET Project was held at Oriental Palace Hotel in Hanoi.
Among the participants were representatives of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA), of the General Department for Vocational Training (GDVT) and the Vocational Training Association (VVTA) as well as the representatives of the German project executing agencies GTZ, DED, CIM and InWEnt.

The agencies of the FC-component KfW and GFA also joined the workshop along with the directors and heads of the training departments of the 11 supported partner schools.

The main objective of the meeting was to reach a common knowledge and understanding of the scope of the project and the mode of cooperationbetween the different Vietnamese and German partners in order to develop a consistent operational plan for technical cooperation in 2008.

The cooperation project presented its main achievements of 2007. Further content of discussion was the planning of next steps for the development of labor-market relevant training modules in selected trades, supported by financial cooperation, together with issues of general management, which are necessary to ensure the sustainability of the project.
