LILAMA 2 enhances production lines with NX Design training offer for the industry

LILAMA 2 International Technology College (LILAMA 2), renowned for its expertise in smart manufacturing, has started to offer further training on industry applied design with NX software for the metal processing industry.

10 company technicians and engineers from An Phu Mechanics, Duong Hoang Gia, Nhat Quang, and Chi Linh Trading and Technical Service acquired new competencies in the 80h further training “Basic Design with NX Software”. The industry applied training was implemented from 21 – 30.08.2023 by two competent master trainers from LILAMA 2 college. The participants developed their competencies to design and manufacture products at all stages of the life cycle. Further, the training provided the chance for the participants to gain valuable knowledge and skills how to enhance the company’s production lines, increase its productivity and set the foundation for a consequent application of the digital twin technology.

Mr Nguyễn Quốc Phong – a technician from Chi Linh Trading and Technical Service, remarked: “We had previously been exposed to similar software. However, after learning basic design with NX software here at LILAMA 2, we could see the advantages of different software. With NX, we can integrate different software together in a more flexible way and demonstrate our newly acquired competencies with NX software in the job. We are willing to introduce this course at LILAMA 2 to our colleagues due to its top in-demand application nowadays for both design and technological preparation in a production line.”

The activity was conducted in the frame of the Development Partnership with the Private Sector (DPP) “Vocational Training for Smart Manufacturing in Machine Tools”. The DPP is supported by the develoPPP.de programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and jointly implemented by the cooperation partners Siemens Limited Vietnam, LILAMA 2 International Technology College and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, represented by the Programme “Reform of Technical and Vocational Education and Training in Viet Nam”.
