Industrial Electronics teachers of BCI and VCMI are ready for the final exams oriented on German standards

On October 10th and 11th 2023, the Programme Reform of TVET in Viet Nam (TVET Programme) collaborated with LILAMA 2 International Technology College (LILAMA 2) to implement the training course “Introduction and Guidance on organizing the Final Exam Part 1 (AP1) of Industrial Electronics occupation oriented to German standards” for teachers of Bac Ninh College of Industry (BCI) and College of Machinery and Irrigation (VCMI), two colleges which received the dissemination of training programmes.

With the desire to provide in-depth technical support and share experience in implementing the exam for students, Mr. Nguyen Trong Tin and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuc Han, multipliers of LILAMA 2, introduced facilities and organizational process of the Final Exam Part 1 (AP1) including equipment list plan, exam room design, exam questions and exam evaluation measurement forms, and methodology to complete exam documents for the exam. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuc Han commented: “Through this training course, teachers of BCI and VCMI acknowledged the need of practicing for the final exam, not only the content and exam materials, but also the facilities, equipment, and examiners”. The preparation steps for practical parts were also shared in detail through face-to-face activity with students, assisting BCI and VCMI teachers in better understanding the examination process, including examiner preparation activities. 

Mr. Tran Trung Hau, Dean of Electric-Electronics Faculty of BCI, shared: “This coaching supported to better comprehend the examination process, mentioning all documents and assessment forms. More than that, we had the opportunity to receive advice to complete the content of the AP1 exam set. Hereby, BCI and VCMI are ready for the German Standard Final Exam Part 1 in 2024!”.

The training course was conducted within the component “Supporting High-Quality TVET Institutes” as part of the Vietnamese – German Programme “Reform of TVET in Viet Nam”. The programme is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by Deutssche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) together with the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA).
