The TVET Programme aims to develop a DVET-operated platform for Open Educational Resources (OER). The OER platform is a common space to centralize, organize, manage and distribute all digital teaching and learning resources related to TVET, while integrating to other digital LMS platforms and software to promote sharing of information resources among 11 TVET partners of GIZ and 03 companies. Together with the learning management system and the digital management platform, the OER platform is expected to be a firm foundation for TVET institutes to develop into digital/smart colleges. This pilot OER platform is included in the draft “Strategy on digital transformation in TVET during the period 2021 – 2025, with orientation to 2030” developed by DVET and submitted to the Government in December 2021. This project aims to assist DVET in drawing on best practices and lessons learnt, and explore the possibility to scale up the platform to the TVET sector in Vietnam.

The purpose of the meeting is to provide all stakeholders with a big picture of the OER platform model. The event creates an open forum to discuss and collect all recommendations and suggestions from DVET, experts, 11 partner colleges, and other companies
