Second Life platform has been developed for nearly 20 years, and used by more than 300 universities in the world to build virtual practice-based spaces such as libraries, flight simulation rooms, gyms, restaurants, hotels, supermarkets… Second Life offers potential opportunities for vocational education and training.

With the desire to assist TVET teachers in experiencing this virtual platform, GIZ plans to organize the Webinar No. 4: to promote practice-based simulation in vocational training.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, who has over 15 years of experience in e-learning, will be the key trainer. He won prestigious awards such as Technical Innovation Award in Ho Chi Minh City (2011), the National Technical Innovation Award (2012), and was recognized by Microsoft Corporation as Microsoft Innovative Educator Master Trainer (2014). The webinar aims to support participants in realizing the benefits, drawbacks and effectiveness of using Second Life platform in vocational education. Participants will participate in the practice sessions to learn how to create virtual practice-based instruments on this platform.
