LILAMA 2 trainees of second batch Cooperative Training classes proved their competence throughout Final Examination Part 1

The second batch of Cooperative Training Programmes including 73 students from the period 2017-2020 at LILAMA 2 International Technology College took part in the Final Examinations Part 1 from 18 – 26 May 2020. These examinations were developed and organised based on German standardised examination procedures featured with four Examination Committees including in-company trainers and LILAMA 2’s teachers.

The Examinations were carried out by competent examiners trained and certified by German experts from Chamber of Craft Erfurt (HWK Erfurt) in 2019. Competence requirements and examination procedures were oriented by German Training standards; however, the processes and assessment methods were adjusted by Examiners from Examination Committees to fit into the requirements in Viet Nam.

11 students of Construction Mechanics, 20 students of Metal Cutting, 23 students of Mechatronics and 19 students of Industrial Electronics were all assessed for their knowledge and skills obtained during training at LILAMA 2 as well as during in-company training phases at partner companies like Thuan Hai, Sang Tao, Martech Boiler and Ishisei Vietnam.

The experts from GIZ, including Mr. Frank Schulze, Integrated Expert and Mr. Jan Otto, Development Advisor were also engaged to instruct Examination Committees and observe the processes from preparation to implementation and assessment/ marking so that the examination procedures could be ensured to be in line with German standard.

This activity was organised within the component “Support for Centres of Excellence for TVET” as part of the Vietnamese-German “Programme Reform of TVET in Viet Nam”. The programme is financed by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), implemented by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) together with the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MoLISA).
