"Enhancing the scale and quality of vocational education and training (VET) is the key to economic development and the involvement of the business sector is the decisive factor to do so", Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed at the National Forum "Skilling Up Vietnam” in Hanoi on November 16, 2019. So far, this is the biggest forum on a skilled workforce that was co-organised by the Ministry of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs, Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and relevant ministries.
BMZ's delegations visit LILAMA 2 on 31 October 2019
On the 31st of October, LILAMA 2 welcomed a delegation of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) together with implementation partners of the German-Vietnamese cooperation. During their field visit, the guests from Germany got a tour around the campus including the newly installed Industry 4.0 lab that is part of the development partnership with Bosch-Rexroth. Getting in touch with students and teachers of the college, they gained a deep understanding of the cooperative training approach and the challenges of the ongoing implementation process. The delegation highly appreciated the efforts made in LILAMA 2 and encouraged the management board, teachers and students to pursue on their path towards excellence.
