    TVET institutes are ready for the Cooperative Training!

    LILAMA 2 International Technology College (LILAMA 2), with the support of the Viet Nam -German Cooperation programme "Reform of TVET in Viet Nam", in collaboration with companies and sector associations partner have developed and successfully piloted four training programs of college-level orientation of German standards on Mechatronics, Industrial Electronics, Metal Cutting - CNC and Construction Mechanics.

    “Work side-by-side to transform the workshops and the labs”

    From 11 to 22 of November 2019, a training workshop on “Improving Workshop Management at Electrical Workshops at NTCT” was implemented by Mr. Claus Bader- Development Advisors of Programme “Reform of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Vietnam”- GIZ at Nha Trang College of Technology. The aim of the course was to train staff members of the electrical Department further in Workshop Management on the aspect of “5S” and its application on existing venues at the college. Furthermore, enhancing health and safety measures as well as training methods in a practical training workshops was addressed. Participating in the training were 12 teachers and 16 students from Electrical Department of Nha Trang College of Technology.

    "Human capital is Vietnam's strongest national resource"

    "Enhancing the scale and quality of vocational education and training (VET) is the key to economic development and the involvement of the business sector is the decisive factor to do so", Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc affirmed at the National Forum "Skilling Up Vietnam” in Hanoi on November 16, 2019. So far, this is the biggest forum on  a skilled workforce that was co-organised by the Ministry of Labour Invalids and Social Affairs, Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry and relevant ministries.

    Final examinations oriented to German Standard at LILAMA 2 has been acknowledged by German competent authority

    From August to November 2019, final examinations for 80 students of the pilot cooperative training classes in Metal Cutting–CNC, Construction Mechanics, Mechatronics, and Industrial Electronics was successfully implemented. The final examinations were organised by examination committees with members of LILAMA 2 and the partner companies ISHISEI, Thuan Hai, Sang Tao and Martech Boiler.
