OPENING Photo Exhibition
Hanoi, 19 – 23/1/2011
The Photo Exhibition “Career and Life” was opened on January the 19th 2011 at 29 Hang Bai Street, Hanoi, by Mdm. Nguyen Thi Hang, Chairwomen of the Vietnam Vocational Training Association. Mdm. Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Minister of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs honored the efforts on Awareness Raising for TVET in Viet Nam with her speech at the opening.

The exhibition jointly conducted by the Vietnam Vocational Training Association (VVTA) and German Development Cooperation (GDC) is part of a broader PR Campaign on TVET in Vietnam and took place on the occasion of 20 years of Vietnamese – German Cooperation in TVET.
“Career and Life” displays more than 50 lively images of students/trainees and teachers/instructors at TVET institutes as well as of TVET graduates working successfully in their vocation. Among those ‘success stories’ are also disadvantaged TVET graduates who have entered a promising career path as a result of their vocational training.
This is the first ever photo exhibition on TVET to take place in Hanoi. Visitors, in particular youngsters and their parents, will learn more about TVET in Vietnam and its potentials to open a way for younger generations to employment, income and a promising career.
The exhibition lasted from 19th to the 23rd 2011 of January. Now, it will go on the road to TVET institutes across the country.
