Capacity building for developing and adapting labour-market oriented module

From 1st to 4th of April 2008, Promotion of TVET project held a workshop on capacity building for developing and adapting labour-market oriented module at Sedona Hotel (Hanoi) with participation of 9 teachers from project partner schools and 2 experts from the world of work from Hoa Phat Group and Stanley Company. Instructors were international and local experts. |
At this workshop, after analysing the typical characteristics of mechatronics trade again, the module developing method generally as well as relevant regulations of MoLISA, workshop participants were divided into 3 working groups for further elaborating 3 different modules. Then each of the three groups presented their results and discussed with other groups and experts to optimise their results. During the discussions, working groups have also gotten better understanding on the demand of labour-market from experts from the world of work.
Through this workshop, participants not only gained better understanding and skills of module development, but also had chance to share experience in developing module and conditions for implementing module at each school (related to available equipments and planned KfW equipments).
After the workshop, we expect that participants will contribute to the development and proactive implementation of modules in their schools and share gained experience with other teachers at other project schools too.
