The Provision and improvement of practical in-company training of trainees from vocational training institutions is one important field of cooperation with enterprises towards a vocational training which follows the requirements of the labor market.

Together with Wiha, a manufacturer of premium tools and the Viet Duc Industrial College Thai Nguyen the TVET project has signed an agreement about a pilot project to cooperate in the area of practical in-company training. Based on this cooperation Wiha has provided a further training program for teachers from VDIC and is conducting regularly practical training for VDIC trainees.

The TVET project supports this in-company training by means of capacity building for Wiha instructors. The program aims to improve vocational training towards the needs of the companies and to share the experience of providing in-company training with other companies. Supported by a consultant the TVET project is currently evaluating the training program for developing a manual about practical in-company training, which will serve companies with useful and valuable information about on how to set up and to organize practical training.
