Vietnamese-German Cooperation in the field of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) is focussing on

• Support for a vocational training system corresponding to the needs of the business sector.
• Creation of a differentiated regulatory framework.
• Institutional development including private and governmental training institutions.
• Practice-orientated training.
• Improved opportunities for women to access vocational training.

The Vietnamese Partners are supported in the vocational training system reform process and the further development of vocational training institutes as well as teacher/instructor training facilities.

The objective is to improve the supply of labor with qualifications to meet the demand of industry.

The German Implementation Agencies - Centre of International Migration (CIM), German Development Service (DED), Deutsche Gesellschaft fuer Technische Zusammenarbeit (GTZ), InWEnt - Capacity Building International, KfW Entwicklungsbank (KfW) - support the Vietnamese partners on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) in their efforts to reform the TVET system.
